James E. Nunn

James Edward Nunn, 23, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Friday, January 13, 2023, after a lengthy illness.

Born December 29, 1999, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of James E. and Janet G. (Smith) Nunn. A sweeter son, no one could ever have.

James was an active member of the Gettysburg Church of Christ. He enjoyed playing video games, laser tag, YU-GI-OH! tournaments and having airsoft battles. He loved Chinese food and being with family and friends. Because of James’ wonderful spirit, positive attitude, and mischievous nature, James was loved by all who knew him. He was kind, caring, and compassionate well beyond his years. He was a special soul that touched many in his short time on earth. Even during his toughest times, he had a smile that could warm your heart.

James was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather William E. Smith of Eden, NC; and paternal grandfather Jack D. Nunn of Eden, NC.

In addition to his parents, James is survived by his older brother, Jack D. Nunn (Julia) of Topeka, KS; maternal grandmother Mary B. Smith of Eden, NC; paternal grandmother Bonnie Nunn of Eden, NC; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service for James will be held 11 AM, Friday, January 20, 2023, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. A viewing will be held from 10 – 11 AM, Friday, January 20, 2023, at the funeral home. There will be no graveside service.
