James "Jim" A. Culp

James “Jim” Ashley Culp, 55, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at home with his loving wife by his side.

Born January 27, 1967, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Gordon & Esther (Cleveland) Culp.  He was the loving husband to Robin A. (Proctor) Culp for 19 years.

Jim was a graduate of South Western High School class of 1985. He was self-employed for many years but had been a Front-End Team Lead at Walmart in Hanover, PA for the last 3 years.   

Jim loved his job at Walmart but in his free time, he enjoyed golfing and spending time with Robin and Snickers.

In addition to his wife, Robin, Jim is survived by his loving canine companion, “Snickers”; siblings, Gordon Culp, Jr., Maureen Rickrode, and Denise Culp; beloved great-niece Vivi Carocci and great-nephew Vince Carocci; and several other nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Jim’s life will be held 12:00 PM, Monday, June 6, 2022, at The Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA 17331, with the Rev. Dr. Kathy Vitalis Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday, June 6, 2022, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim’s memory to the A.S.P.C.A. – The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, online at ASPCA.org.
