James M. Staaf

James M. Staaf, 66, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

Born January 9th, 1960, in Mars, PA, he was the son of the late Vernon and Norma (Kemp) Staaf. James was the loving husband of Jill Marie (Wildasin) Staaf, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage

James was a veteran of the United States Army serving his country proudly.

James worked as an EMT and Firefighter in Reading, PA for many years. Later he became a long-haul truck driver for Brothers Trucking Company, Frock Brothers Trucking, and then Hillendale Farms, he drove over 1 million miles across the country.

James also served his community as the West Manheim Township supervisor for over 10 years.

James is survived by his loving wife, Jill, his daughter, Jessica (Staaf) Smiga, and his sister, Susan Staaf.
