Janet I. Trish

Janet I. Trish, 85, of Spring Grove, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the Gardens at Gettysburg.

Born November 29, 1938, in McSherrystown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Oneida (Rineman) Lippy.  Janet was the loving wife of the late Harold A. Trish, who passed away on June 24, 2005.

Janet worked at the Colonial Shoe Factory for over twenty years until her retirement.

Janet loved mowing the grass, and enjoyed shopping, dining out, and spending time with her family and friends.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Peggy S. Wagner and her companion, James "Doc" Kress of Spring Grove, PA; two grandchildren, Travis L. Wagner, Sr. of Hanover, PA, and Andrew L. Wagner of Spring Grove, PA; one great-grandson, Travis L. Wagner, Jr. of Hanover, PA; one brother, Donald Lippy of Hanover, PA; and two sisters, Nancy Yoho and Linda Laughman, both of Hanover, PA.  Janet was preceded in death by a son, Harold A. Trish, Jr.; two brothers, Kenneth Lippy and David Lippy; and seven sisters, Betty Lippy, Delores Trish, Ruby Caskey, Charmine Meckley, Beatrice Scott, Dottie Bechtel, and Treva McMaster.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Janet will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street in Hanover, PA.  A viewing will be held from 1-2 PM, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, PA.
