Janet E. Feltch

Janet E. (Martin) Feltch, 86, of Hanover, PA, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Tree of Life, Grandview Road, with her loving family by her side.

Janet was born on February 14, 1939.  She was the daughter of the late Paul Martin and Nellie (Gapp) Martin.  She was a 1957 graduate of Delone Catholic High School and Penn-Mar Beauty School.  Janet was a beautician and the owner of Jan-Lyn Beauty Salon for 63 years.  She loved spending time with family and friends, going to bingo and gardening.  Janet was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, serving as a Gift Bearer, Bazaar worker, and volunteer at the Thrift Shop.

She is survived by her children, Wayne Feltch (Quinn) of Hanover, PA, Brian Feltch (Susan) of Glenville, PA, stepchildren, Shari Lehman of Glenville, PA, and Terri Malone of Winchester, VA, 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 7 step-great-grandchildren, a sister Bea Strausbaugh and husband Tom, of Hanover, and many nieces and nephews.  Janet was preceded in death by her son, Keith A. Feltch, husband William A. Feltch, husband William Sunday, sisters, Pat Wentz, June Eberly & many fur babies.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Tree of Life for the kind and compassionate care that was given to Janet, also Grane Hospice - May the Lord bless you all.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM, Thursday, November 20, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Father Cole Mase as celebrant.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00AM, Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA 17331, or Animal Rescue, 2 Heritage Farm Drive, New Freedom, PA 17349.
