Janis L. Guinto

Janis L. Guinto, 72, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Friday, April 23, 2021 at UPMC Hanover Hospital, Hanover, PA with her loving family by her side.

Born February 9, 1949, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor (Burns) Christie.  Janis was the loving wife of Richard R. Guinto with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in August 2021. 

Janis was a bookkeeper for the English American Tailoring Company in Westminster, MD.  She enjoyed doing crafts, making jewelry, painting, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her loving husband, Richard, Janis is survived by her son, Keith E. Guinto of Santa Monica, CA; and a brother, Edward “Boh” Christie of Westminster, MD.

Following cremation, a visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM, and from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA.  Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
