Jason Jacob Bange, 78, of Hanover, entered God’s eternal care Saturday, March 9, 2024, at his home in Hanover.
Born on January 29, 1946, in Hanover, PA, Jason was the son of the late Aaron N. Bange and Anna R. (Shank) Bange. He was the former husband of Bertha T. (Hostetter) Bange.
Jason attended Littlestown High School. During his life he worked in a variety of different industries including cabinetry, lawn mower repair, and for many years as an entrepreneur owning and operating Appalachian Stoves in Hanover.
Jason had many hobbies. He loved playing guitar, riding ATV, and investing in real estate. Jason also enjoyed spending time with his children, traveling to Vermont, attending fall festivals and buying and restoring John Deere tractors.
In addition to his former wife, Bertha, Jason is survived by his six children, Julia A. Bange of Ephrata PA, Joy A. Zimmerman and husband John of Lititz, PA, Jay S. Bange and wife Heather of Newport, PA, Jane A. Zeiset and husband Kent of Narvon, PA, Jason N. Bange and spouse Vitaly Borisenko of Lititz, PA, and James A. Bange of Shermansdale, PA; eight grandchildren: Austin Zimmerman and wife Kayla, Morgan Zimmerman and wife Abigail, Cordel Zeiset and wife Abigail, Travis Zeiset, Nicole Zeiset, Dylan Zeiset, Ryan Bange, and Abigail Bange; and five great-grandchildren: Zoey Zimmerman, Gabriel Zimmerman, Caden Zimmerman, Eliana Zimmerman, and Norah Zimmerman. Jason also leaves behind 6 siblings: James Bange, Lois Strite, Amos Bange, Mary Jane Bange, Sharon Bange, and Nathan Bange.
Jason was preceded in death by a daughter and a son, Jean M. Bange & Jacob A. Bange, and his brother David A. Bange
A graveside service to celebrate and remember Jason’s life will be at 1 pm, Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Hostetter's Mennonite Church Cemetery, 537 Hostetter Road, Hanover, PA 17331, with Pastor Allen Joines officiating.
