Jeffrey A. Markle

Jeffrey Alan Markle, 72, of Hanover, PA, entered God’ eternal care, on Friday, February 23, 2024, at his home.

Born December 4, 1951, he was the son of the late John E. and Doris (Fulco) Markle.  Jeffrey was the loving husband of Debra L. (Senft) Markle with whom he shared 13 years of marriage.

Jeffrey was a 1969 graduate of Hanover High School.  He worked as a material specialist at Caterpillar in York for 15 years until his retirement in 2023.

Jeffrey was a member of Hanover First Church of God, Hanover, PA, where he was on the First Aid Team.  He was also a member of The U.A.W. Local 1872.

Jeffrey was an avid NASCAR and Sprint Car racing fan, as well as a Baltimore Ravens fan.  He also enjoyed playing cards with friends and spending time with family.

In addition to his wife Debra, Jeffrey is survived by two children, Jennifer Markle of Florida, and Jamie Cox of Hanover, PA, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Barbara Marsh and husband Bob and Dory Bankert and husband Dick all of Hanover, PA.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
