Jerry R. Belt

Jerry R. Belt, 80, of Glenville, PA, entered God’s eternal care Friday, May 23, 2025, at home with his loving family by his side.

Born June 23, 1944, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Amos W. and Harriett J. (Anderson) Belt.  Jerry was the loving husband of Diann M. (Geiman) Belt, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.

Jerry was a 1962 graduate of South Western High School, Hanover, PA.  Upon graduation, he served his country proudly in the United States Army.

 Jerry retired from Amp Inc., in 2009 as a tool and die maker with over 44 years of service.

Jerry was a member of the American Legion, the Brothers of the Brush, and the Jefferson Rifle Club.  He loved spending time at his cabin in the mountains, hunting and camping, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his loving wife, Diann, Jerry is survived by his son, Scott Belt of Glenville, PA; one granddaughter, Erika McFalls; two great-grandchildren, Braylon Myers and Sophia McFalls; and two sisters, Susan McClintock and Debbie Hershey.     

Following cremation, services will be held at a later date.
