Jimmy “Jay” Jenkins, 42, of Hanover, PA, entered Gods eternal care, Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born July 15, 1979, in Manhattan, NY, he was the son of the late James Barnes & Thomasina Jenkins. Jay was the loving husband of Monica Dehoff, with whom he shared fifteen years together.
Jay was previously employed as a forklift operator.
In his spare time, Jay enjoyed computers & technology, cars, collecting tools, working on things, listening to music, and most of all, spending time with his loving family.
In addition to his wife Monica, Jay is survived by his children Anjulae Pagan and her mother Lanae Pagan, Bryant Jenkins and his mother Alicea Rogers, Jasmine Jenkins and her mother Natasha Jenkins, and Kenneth Herman and Imani Jenkins (Monica). He also leaves behind two grandchildren, siblings, Donna West, Michael Jenkins, Juana Jenkins, Sabrina Green, Jamie Jenkins, June Jenkins, Twana Duckett, Dotha Duckett, and Eugene Jenkins, Jr., and many friends and adopted family.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Jay’s life will be held 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA 17331, with Dominick Burke officiating. The funeral service will be livestreamed for those unable to attend. A visitation and time to share memories of Jay’s life will be held 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the funeral home.
