Joseph Lee Warnick

Joseph Lee Warnick, 62, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at home with his loving family by his side.    

Born April 25, 1959, in Meyersdale, PA, he was the son of Sylvan C. and Ruth A. (Hare) Warnick.  Joseph was the loving husband of Marijo (Aleszczyk) Warnick with whom he shared forty-one years of marriage on June 14th.

Joseph was a 1977 graduate of Northern Garrett High School, Accident, MD.  He was a test engineering specialist with Textron Systems in Cockeysville, MD for thirty-seven years until his retirement in 2018. 

Joseph enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, gardening, refinishing antique tractors, traveling, camping, decorative painting, and wood carving. 

In addition to his loving wife, Marijo, Joseph is survived by his children, Jennifer Arnold (Arron) of York, PA, and Kyle Warnick (Patty) of Hanover, PA; three grandchildren, Benjamin, Addilynn, and Claire; and his siblings, Terri Warnick of Elwood City, PA, Kathy Sweeney of Grantville, MD, Gary Warnick of Mercersburg, PA, Marla Smacher of Bel Air, MD, and Brian Warnick of Lonaconing, MD.  

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Joseph’s life will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, December 6, 2021, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Reverend Susan Donham officiating.  A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 1:00-4:00 PM, Sunday, December 5, 2021, at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joseph’s memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
