Judith H. "Judie" Fowler

Judith H. “Judie” Fowler, 81, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover, PA.     

Born December 22, 1942, in Beaver Falls, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Best) Hays.  Judith was the loving wife of the late Max R. Fowler, with whom she shared forty-one years of marriage until his passing on December 8, 2021.

Judie was a 1960 graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Beaver Falls, PA.  She was a lighting engineer with HADCO for thirty-six years until her retirement.

Judie loved the outdoors; wildlife organizations and environmental causes were near and dear to her.  She was an avid gardener, loved cross stitching and crafting, travelling, and especially loved spending time with her family.

Judie is survived by her children, Shawn Fowler and wife Vicki of Coatesville, PA, and Heather Fowler of Hanover, PA; three grandchildren, Wyatt Fowler, Graysen Fowler, and Ellie Fowler.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Hays.  

Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate and remember Judie will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Steven E. Thomas officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00AM, Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the funeral home.
