Julie Cynthia Karlus, 64, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s Eternal Care on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at UPMC Hanover Hospital.
Born March 22, 1957, in Hanover, PA, she was the loving daughter of Kathryn M. (Rohrbaugh) Trump and the late Marlen R. Trump. Julie was the loving wife of the late Peter R. Karlus, Jr. who died October 13, 2016, and with whom she shared thirty-five years of marriage.
Julie was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hanover, PA.
Julie was a 1975 graduate of Susquehannock High School, Glen Rock, PA. She worked at Kings Department Store as a department head, was a supervisor at Hardees, and was an assistant manager and then senior associate at Turkey Hill Minit Markets.
Julie was an avid NASCAR fan – especially driver #18 Kyle Busch, liked the New York Yankees, loved to sing Karaoke, and the Grand Ole Opry, enjoyed painting rocks and drawing pictures, and was very devoted to her pet, Mandy.
In addition to her loving mother, Kathryn, Julie is survived by her siblings, David M. Trump and wife Mary of York, PA, Wayne H. Trump and wife Allison of Hanover, PA, Keith D. Trump and wife Lonna of Spring Grove, PA, Kay M. Smith and husband Jason of New Oxford, PA, and Angela R. Kaltreider and husband Michael of Hanover, PA; and her nieces & nephews whom she treated like her children.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Grace United Methodist Church, 55 Albright Drive, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Todd Christine officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Stone Church Cemetery, Glenville, PA.
