Kara Nicole Kelly, 34, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Monday, January 29, 2024, at home.
Born October 3, 1989, in Hanover, PA, Kara was the daughter of Ronald Wayne Kelly, Jr., and the late Jill Ann (Decker) Snyder.
Kara attended Bermudian Springs High School.
Kara enjoyed shopping, going to the beach, enjoying warm weather, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her late maternal grandmother, Bonnie Decker.
In addition to her father Ronald, Kara is survived by her daughter, Jillian Claire Elizabeth Yaccarino, her grandfather, Clair James “Jim” Decker, stepfather Kerry Snyder, uncle, Jeff Decker, cousins Derek Decker and Tara Miller, stepbrother, Josh Snyder, and stepsisters, Amber Stower and Brittany Nicholas. Kara was preceded in death by her half-sister Lacey M. Kelly.
Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate and remember Kara’s life will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 5450 Carlisle Street, New Oxford, PA 17350, with Pastor Michael Allwein officiating. Visitation and time to share memories with the family will be from 10-11 AM, at the church. Burial will be in Hampton Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kara’s name to the Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
