Kathy L. Colgan

Kathy L. Colgan, 74, of Hanover, PA, entered into God’s eternal care on Friday, January 2, 2026 at the Hanover Hall Nursing center with her loving family by her side.

Born March 9, 1951 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Shue) Swartz.

Kathy was a graduate of Florida Southern University.  She worked as a Properties Service Coordinator for many various non-profits, the last of which was at the Senior Residences at Hanover Shoe.

Kathy was a member of St. Mark‘s Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA

Kathy was an avid reader and loved animals.

Kathy is survived by her sister, Susan L. O’Brien of Hanover, PA, her brother, George Swartz of Lancaster, PA and her two dogs Frankie and Greta.

A service to celebrate and remember Kathy will be held at a later date.
