Kenneth Laughman Obituary
Kenneth Eugene Laughman, 89, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Paramount Senior Living Center, Fayetteville, PA.
Born April 1, 1935, in York, PA, he was the son of the late Kenneth E. and Elizabeth L. (Gentzler) Miller.
Kenneth was a 1952 graduate of Eichelberger Senior High School in Hanover, PA. He was a Union Electrician for IBEW Local 229 for over 20 years until his retirement.
Kenneth was an active member of the Hanover Home Association and a life member of the McSherrystown Fish and Game Association.
Kenneth enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially at the Iron Bridge. He was an avid bowler in area bowling leagues and also kept the Stats and records for his teams.
Kenneth is survived by his siblings, Delores Yohe, Patricia Grimes, Larry Miller, and Gary Miller all of Hanover, PA, his nieces and nephews, Deborah Freed, Kathy Wolf, Scott Yohe, Wayne Yohe, Sandy Hoover, Larry Miller, Jr., Robert Miller, John Miller, Robert S. Miller, Tony Grimes, Thomas Grimes, Tammy Bankert, and Marlin Plunkert. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Plunkert, one niece, Terri Trump, and two nephews, Emory “Ken” Yohe and Ernest Yohe.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Kenneth’s life will be held 11 AM, Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating. Burial will be in St. David’s Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Kenneth’s memory to the Guthrie Memorial Library, 2 Library Place, Hanover, PA 17331 or any local Hospice Program of your choosing.
