Kenneth H. Warner, 87, of New Oxford, PA entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Wellspan York Hospital.
Born September 5, 1937, in Hanover, PA he was the son of the late Harley B. and Beulah I. (Sterner) Warner. Kenneth was the loving husband of Peggy A. (Kessel) Warner with whom he shared 65 years of marriage.
Kenneth was a 1955 graduate of Eichelberger High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served his country proudly from 1956 to 1962.
Kenneth worked as a Department Manager for Doubleday for 44 ½ years until his retirement in 1999.
Kenneth was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA, The Hanover Elks Lodge #763, the Hanover Republican Club, The Hanover Industrial Management Club and the Gettysburg Region Antique Auto Club.
In addition to his loving wife Peggy, Kenneth is survived by three children, Michelle King and husband John of Hanover, PA, K. Todd Warner and wife Jennifer, and Laura Myers and husband Ben all of Hanover, PA, seven grandchildren, Bryan Miller, Erich Miller and wife Patty, Zachary Myers, Sara Myers and fiancé Jimmy, Hannah Myers, Alyssa Warner, and Cole Warner, and one sister, Phyllis Feltch of Hanover, PA. He was preceded in death by an infant son Brian L. Warner
A service to celebrate and remember Kenneth’s life will be held 11 Am, Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA with the Rev. Faye Snyder officiating. The burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM, Friday, March 14, 2025, at the funeral home.
