Larry G. Jensen

Larry G. Jensen, 75, of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal care, Sunday, May 2, 2021 at his home.

Born September 18, 1945 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Carl and Ruth (Rohrbaugh) Jensen.  Larry was the loving husband of the late Joanne (Gummel) Jensen with whom he shared 38 years of marriage until her passing on October 13, 2006.

Larry was a 1963 graduate of South Western High School.  He worked for over 40 years at Voith Hydroelectric until his retirement in 2007.  He also had a sign business for many years.

Larry was a member of the NRA and donated to many various charities in the Hanover Area.

Larry was very artistic.  He sang in the Band Freedom Express and was also a member of the band Poor Richard’s Almanac.  He also enjoyed building furniture and doing home projects.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Christina Jacoby and husband David of McSherrystown, PA and Sherry Jensen and paramour Christian Geiselman of Spring Grove, PA, two grandchildren, Alicia Jacoby and Abbey Jacoby, and grand-pups, Austin, Sampson, and Lucy.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie and Barry Jensen.

A prayer Service will be held 11 AM, Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Dwight Schlaline officiating.  A viewing will be held from 9 – 11 AM, Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the funeral home.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
