Larry E. Kline, 74, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Transitions Nursing Center.
Born March 28, 1949, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Robert E. Kline and Kathryn S. (Stough) Kline. Larry was the loving husband of June A. (Miller) Kline with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.
Larry was 1967 graduate of New Oxford High School and a 1973 graduate of Indiana University of PA with a bachelor’s in business administration. He had a long career in the banking industry, serving as a branch manager for Cumberland Valley S&L, Hill Financial, Meridian Bank and lastly, Northwest Savings.
Larry was a member of The Hanover Kiwanis Club serving as president twice, the Globe Club, Hanover Jaycees, Hanover Numismatic Society, York Adams Parenting Aid Council, York Area Boy Scout Council, and the McSherrystown Fish & Game.
Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball and coaching his son’s Pee Wee and Little League teams as well as his daughter’s girls Jr. and Sr. softball teams in West Manheim.
In addition to his wife June, Larry is survived by his children, Eric E. Kline of Bellefonte, PA, Andrea E. Vaccaro of Macungie, PA, grandchildren, Cameron Kline, Kani Kline, Carly Kline, Leia Vaccaro, and Eli Vaccaro, and his brother, Harold Kline of Hanover, PA.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Larry’s life will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Grace Church of Hanover, 55 Albright Drive, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Todd A. Christine officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10 - 11 AM, Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the church.
