Larry A. Field, 79, of Friendsville, MD, entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at his daughter’s home with his loving family by his side.
Born July 12, 1946, in Masontown, WV, he was the son of the late Ernest T. and Effie V. Field. Larry was the loving husband if the late Barbara A. (Gray) Field with whom he was married for 33 years until her passing on November 21, 2022.
Larry was a 1964 graduate of Franklin High School, Reisterstown, MD. He worked as a self-employed truck drive for numerous years until his retirement in 2011.
Larry enjoyed collecting guns, hunting, watching Westerns, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Larry is survived by His daughter, Lori Scott of Hanover, PA, his stepchildren, Kurt Utz of Glen Burnie, MD, Richard Utz of Dayton, OH, and Michael Utz of Glen Burnie, MD, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and his siblings, Sharon West, David Field, and Ernie Field. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Davis.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
