Larry E. Doyle, Sr.

Larry E. Doyle, Sr, 76, of Hanover, PA, entered into God’s eternal care on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the UPMC Hanover Hospital.

Born February 2, 1949, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Lester M. and Mary E. (Harget) Doyle.

Larry retired from Caterpillar, Inc., after many years of service working in the parts department.

Larry enjoyed golfing, country music, and spending time with his family.

Larry is survived by his son, Larry E. Doyle, Jr. of York, PA, his former wife, Karen E. (Schaszberger) Doyle of York, PA, and his siblings, Bonnie L. Smith of Leeds, AL, Robert J. Doyle of Mocksville, NC, Debera A. Bubb of Glenville, PA, Stephen L. Doyle of Abbottstown, PA, and Rodney A. Doyle of Hanover, PA.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Larry’s life will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at St. David’s United Church of Christ, 142 Hobart Road, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating.  The burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, PA.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 1-2 PM, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the church.
