Linda Rae Stambaugh

Linda Rae Stambaugh, 82, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at the UPMC Hanover Hospital.

Born June 2, 1941, in Oakland, MD, she was daughter to the late Warden Dale and Voida Tessiebell (Warnick) Stahl.

Linda worked as a registrar at Hanover Hospital for 17 years until her retirement on March 2, 2007.

Linda attended Hanover First Church of God.

In her free time, Linda enjoyed spending time with her family - especially her grandchildren, walking her dog Gracie, and gardening.

Linda is survived by her children, Cheri Quinlin and companion Rich of Baltimore, MD, Kenneth Tarbart and wife Cindy of Delta, PA, Jeffrey Tarbart and wife Arlene of Baltimore, MD, Chris Tarbart and companion Joann of Parkton, MD, Maureen Edelin and companion Greg of Hanover, PA, and Amy LeFevre, also of Hanover, PA, sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren. Linda also leaves behind her brother Craig Stahl.  She was preceded in death by her sister Saundra Anderson.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Linda’s life will be held 10 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Hanover First Church of God, 600 Fairview Drive, Hanover, PA 17331, with the Reverend Dan Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be from 9 – 10 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the church.
