Lisa M. Smith, 45, of New Oxford, PA, entered God’s eternal care Friday, May 16, 2025, at UPMC Hanover Hospital, with her loving family by her side.
Born February 15, 1980, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Patricia (Fisher) Johnson, and the late Edward J. Johnson, Sr. Lisa was the loving wife of Jeremy J. Smith with whom she just celebrated 24 years of marriage on May 4, 2025.
Lisa was a 1998 graduate of Bermudian Spring High School. She worked as a scanner at Clark’s, and previously at Pillowtex and Doubleday.
Lisa enjoyed painting rocks, loved cow figurines, loved her chihuahuas Lucy and Layah, and spending time with her friends and family.
In addition to her mother and her loving husband, Lisa is survived by two children, Anthony M. Smith and Madelynn R. Smith; one grandson, Joseph P. Smith; two sisters, Jessica Hull and Dawn Innerst; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward J. Johnson, Jr.; and her heart donor, Heather Ripley.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Lisa will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 66 East Hanover Street, Gettysburg (Bonneauville), PA with Rev. Matt Miller officiating. Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6PM-8PM, Friday, May 23, 2025, at the funeral home in Bonneauville.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
