Lisa R. Clemmer Obituary

Lisa R. Clemmer, of Auburn, Maine, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025 after 50 years and 7 months here on this earth. She was born in Lancaster, PA on August 14, 1975 to Dennis and Mary Jane (Kurtz) Myer. She moved with her family to Maine when she was five years old and attended Lisbon Falls Christian Academy. Following graduation, she spent one year at Rosedale Bible Institute, where she met her husband, Wendell Clemmer. Lisa was a faithful and loving wife to Wendell for 30 years.

Throughout the years, Lisa was a loving mother to their six children, striving to raise them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and showing by example what it means to live faithfully for the Lord. Along with her full time ministry to her husband and children, Lisa invested well in her friends and neighbors, including caring for a neighbor's children for quite a few years. She also LOVED music and was thrilled to be able to live her dream of singing with Praise&Harmony, participating in both their Overwhelming God and Steadfast God albums.

Lisa's life touched many. She lived with passion and conviction to do and live what was right, regardless of popular opinion. She left an example of devotion to the Lord through faithfully reading His Word, meditating, and committing herself to prayer and fasting. Her allegiance to her Saviour was never in question.

Lisa's life left a deep imprint - and now, a gaping void. She will be greatly missed by so many including, but not limited to, her parents; five siblings; her husband, Wendell; their seven children, Aaron (Kirsten) Clemmer, Kristina (Kevin) Long, Bethany (Benjamin) Smucker, Susanna (Darren) Sollenberger, Lance Clemmer, Janae Clemmer and Yasmin Clemmer; and seven grandchildren with one on the way.

We rejoice with Lisa, that the "sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." (Romans 8:18) May God be praised in her life, and also in her death.

The immediate family will be holding a private burial service.
