Lora L. Madoushek, 96, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Monday, March 18, 2024, at UPMC Hanover Hospital.
Born March 25, 1927, in Moosic, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Evans) Whitebread. Lora was the wife of the late Ted A. Madoushek who died September 21, 2003.
Lora was a member of Captivate Community Church, Hanover, PA. She retired from Giant Foods after 17 years of service.
Lora is survived by two sons, Mark W. Madoushek of Hanover, PA, and Eric K. Madoushek and wife Cindy of Spring Grove, PA, three grandchildren, Joy M. Sanderson & husband Mike, Randy A. Madoushek & wife Melissa, and Rachel L. Russell & husband Kyle; six great-grandchildren, Paul Sanderson, Caleb Russell, Levi Russell, Olivia Russell, and Ashton & Sophie Madoushek. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Paul Whitebread and Ester J. Whitebread.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Lora will be held 12PM, Monday, March 25, 2024, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with her pastor the Rev. Jeff Kutz officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle, PA. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 11AM-12PM, Monday, March 25, 2024, at the funeral home.
