Margie L. Olinger

Margie L. Olinger, 90, of Littlestown, PA, entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Genisis Gettysburg Health Center, with her loving family by her side.

Born December 28, 1933, in Paris, KY, she was the daughter of the late Mitchell and Louise (Broadway) Lovell.  Margie was the loving wife of Kenneth Olinger, Jr., with whom she shared 68 years of marriage.

Margie was a member of Christ Church of Littlestown, where she was an active member and former member of the church consistory for many years.  She was a former member of The Eastern Star.

Margie cherished her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Kenneth, Margie is survived by her sons, Kenneth F, Olinger and wife Joyce, David D. Olinger and wife Patricia, and Daniel D. Olinger and wife Candice all of Littlestown, PA, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her siblings, Donald Lovell, Jim Lovell, Tom Lovell, Mildred Bryer, Lorraine Sabella, and Beatrice Arentz.

A visitation will be held from 3-9 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2025, at the Christ Church of Littlestown, 131 Christ Church Road, Littlestown, PA.  A service to celebrate and remember Margie’s life will be held 12 PM, Friday, January 3, 2025, at Christ Church of Littlestown, 131 Christ Church Road, Littlestown, PA, with her Pastor the Rev. Doug Mummert officiating.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
