Marie L. Warner

Marie Louise Warner, 94, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital, Gettysburg, PA. 

Born August 20, 1926, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clair and Marie C. (Breighner) Weaver.  Marie was the loving wife of the late Donald G. Warner, Sr., who died April 19, 1995.

Marie worked at the Hanover Shoe Company in her earlier years and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. 

 Marie is survived by her daughter, Rose Marie Smith of York Springs, PA; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald G. Warner, Jr., and three sisters, Geraldine, Dolly, and Rita.

 A service to celebrate and remember Marie’s life will be held 11:30 AM, Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, Friday, March 26, 2021 at the funeral home.
