Marie "Betsy" E. Wisensale

Marie “Betsy” E. Wisensale, 75, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Thursday, May 13, 2021 at home with her loving family by her side. 

Born October 26, 1945, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold R. and Mary (Topper) Utz.  Betsy was the loving wife of Wayne R. Wisensale with whom she would have celebrated 56 years of marriage on May 16th. 

Betsy was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Hanover, PA. 

Betsy was a 1963 graduate of South Western High School.  She was a legal secretary for Attorney Larry Wolf for 33 years until her retirement in 2010.

Betsy loved watching her grandkids play sports, and loved watching college basketball, and the Washington Nationals.

In addition to her loving husband Wayne, Betsy is survived by three children, Dana M. Bealing, Kelly S. Grove, and Mick W. Wisensale and wife Melissa all of Hanover, PA; three grandchildren, Madi E. Wisensale, Max M. Wisensale, and Colby A. Bealing; and three siblings, Barb Keller and husband Andy, Harold Utz, Jr. and wife Doris, and Carolyn Rodenhaber and husband Wally, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate and remember Betsy will be held 12:00PM, Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA with the Rev. Dr. Bruce P. Buchard officiating.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 11:00AM-12:00PM, Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the funeral home.  Burial will be held privately in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Betsy’s name to the VNA Hospice of Hanover & Spring Grove, 440 Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
