Martin Therit Obituary

Martin L. Therit, 64, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s Eternal Care, Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at WellSpan York Hospital.

Born July 10, 1955, in Hanover, PA he was the son of the late Larry and Norma (Laughman) Therit.

Martin was a graduate of West York H.S. He was a furnace operator at Shepherd’s Foundry until his retirement.

Martin loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, watching wrestling, and Gunsmoke on tv.

Martin is survived by his children, Chastity A. Nicholson of Hanover, PA, Jarold Tusing of York, PA; two grandchildren, Mitchell Nicholson and Tea Chambers; a great-grandson, Theo Chambers; and three brothers, Larry Therit, Jr. of FL, Terry Therit of Spring Grove, PA, and Philip Therit of Dover, PA. He was preceded in death by a son, Martin Therit, Jr.

Following cremation, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
