Mary C. Crowl

Mary C. Crowl (Feeser), age 92, of Lebanon, PA, passed away on July 26, 2022, and transitioned to her new home in Heaven.  Born May 6, 1930, in Adams County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank C. and Carrie E. (Steich) Feeser.   Mary was the loving wife of the late Melvin L. Crowl, with whom she shared 71 years of marriage.  She attended school at the one room Nace School which was located on Impounding Dam Road near Hanover where she met her husband, Melvin. She and Melvin married in 1949. They often reminisced about the time he tied her dress belt to her chair during school one day.

Mary and Melvin lived near Hanover, PA much of their earlier lives until moving to Lebanon, PA approximately 30 years ago to be close to the Christian Fellowship and Missionary Church in Rexmont, PA.

Mary is survived by five of her six children and their spouses, Melvin Crowl Jr. (Debbie), Joyce Smeton, (Edward “Boh”), Kenneth Crowl (Darlene), Robert Crowl (Angie), and Donna Beninati (Mike); daughter-in-law, Robin Crowl (Smith); sister, Esther Bollinger (Feeser); her grandchildren, J. Matthew Crowl, Heather Crowl, Veronica Ramsingh, John Smeton, Josh Smeton, Justin Crowl, Jennifer Furrow, Charity Showalter, and Julie John; and 13 great grandchildren. In addition, Mary was preceded in death by Melvin Crowl (husband), Gerald Crowl (son); Rebecca Crowl (grandchild); brothers, Harry Feeser, Roy Feeser, Richard Feeser, Clyde Feeser, and Clair Feeser; and sister Ruthann Moody (Feeser).

Mary loved the Lord and found comfort in knowing that when this life was over, she would meet with the Lord and those that passed on before. She was faithful in praying and reading her Bible daily. Secondly, she loved her family and rarely forgot to send birthday and anniversary cards to her children, their spouses, the grandchildren, and great grandchildren on each event.

A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00AM, Monday, August 1, 2022, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM, Monday, August 1, 2022, at the funeral home with the Rev. David Sanger officiating.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  The service will be live streamed at www.kenworthyfh.com for those who cannot attend.

Serving as pallbearers will be J. Matthew Crowl, Jesse Showalter, Michael Beninati, Robert Crowl, Zachary Crowl, and Luke Crowl.
