Mary Francis Gray

Mary Francis Gray, 86, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s Eternal Care on Friday, March 12, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Born August 12, 1934 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Muser (Spindle) Florey.  Mary was the loving wife of the late John R. Gray who died January 19, 2011.

Mary worked as an auditor for the State of Maryland for 30 years until her retirement in 2000.

Mary loved to crochet, do word puzzles, going shopping at Macy’s, baking cakes, watching football, and “Law and Order".  She especially loved her family get togethers and being with family whenever she could.

Mary is survived by her sons, Edward G. Weldon and wife Alice, and Keith W. Weldon and wife Barbara all of Hanover, PA; four grandchildren, Nicholas Weldon, Melanie McConville, Eric Weldon, and Jessica Weldon; five great grandchildren, Noah, Bentley, Mackenzie, Liam, and Asher; and one sister, Geraldine Bennett of Linthicum, MD.  She was preceded in death by her siblings, Delores Kimbrough of Montgomery, AL, and Herbert Florey of Montgomery, AL.

A memorial service to celebrate and remember Mary’s life will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA.  The family will receive friends and share memories from 1- 2 Pm, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the funeral home.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
