Mary Lou Krummeck, 87, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at home with her loving family by her side.
Born July 1, 1937, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Catherine (Price) Davidson. Mary Lou was the loving wife of the late Charles R. “Dick” Krummeck with whom she shared 55 years of marriage until his death on December 29, 2010.
Mary Lou was a member of New Hope Faith Community Church, Hanover, PA.
Mary Lou graduated from Eastern High School, Baltimore, MD. She worked as a tax preparer for H&R Block for many years and volunteered with the York County Tax Assistance Program.
Mary Lou enjoyed playing Bridge, was known for her Ceramics, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Holly L. Hoke and her husband Stephen of Hanover, PA; four grandchildren, Christopher Hoke and his wife Alexis, Ashlee Lawrence and husband Devan, Bethany Parrish, and Brittany Miltzel and husband Jeff; seven great grandchildren, Blair, Greyson, Maxwell, Harlow, Kingsley, Brynlee, and Cambrie; a nephew, Jeff Brooks and his wife Jennifer, and great nieces, Makenzie, Taylor, and Kelsey. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jill S. Miller and her sister, Patrica D. Brooks
Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate and remember Mary Lou will be held 11AM, Saturday, February 1, 2025, at New Hope Faith Community Church, 33 Sunday Drive, Hanover, PA, with her Pastor the Rev. Nathaniel Hedin-Schmidt officiating. The family will receive friends, and share memories from 5 – 7 PM, Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, as well as from 10 – 11 AM, Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary Lou’s memory may be made to the Hospice Program of the VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove, 440 Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
