Michael J. Kenny

Michael J. Kenny, 68, of Bonneauville, PA, entered God’s eternal care Friday, October 11, 2024, with his loving family by his side.

Born April 18, 1956, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of John F. Kenny and the late Helen Mscisz-Kenny-Whidden. Michael was the loving husband of Donna B. (Zemartis) Kenny with whom he shared over forty-eight years of marriage.

Michael was a 1974 graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School, Philadelphia, PA, and a 1979 graduate of the Lincoln Technical Institute, Philadelphia, PA.

Michael retired in 2015 from the City of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia International Airport, having worked as a mechanic and in building maintenance for over thirty years.

Michael loved boating, fishing, hunting, traveling, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his loving wife, Donna, Michael is survived by two sons, Harry R. Kenny and wife Luisa of San Diego, CA, and Thomas M. Kenny and Kerri of Huntingdon Valley, PA; one  granddaughter, Adelaide; and one sister, Patricia A. Day and husband Glenn of North Port, FL.

A memorial service to celebrate and remember Michael will be held 2PM, Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 66 East Hanover Street, Gettysburg (Bonneauville), PA, with Deacon Tom Aumen officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 1PM-2PM, Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the funeral home.
