Mildred I. (Baugher) Dubs

Mildred I. (Baugher) Dubs, 94, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Monday, June 8, 2026, at Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover, PA.

Born April 19, 1932, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Lucy K. (Myers) Baugher.  Mildred was the loving wife of the late Merle D. Dubs, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage until his passing on April 19, 2001.

Mildred was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA, and was involved with the Altar Committee, Sewing Group, a Sunday School teacher and pianist, financial secretary, Church Council secretary, PAL Lunch Program, Heritage Choir, and Book Club.  She also enjoyed sewing quilts for Lutheran World Relief.

Mildred was a 1950 graduate of New Oxford High School, New Oxford, PA.

Mildred is survived by her children, Debra A. Diddlemeyer of New Oxford, PA, Dwight D. Dubs of Hanover, PA, Donald A. Dubs of Dover, PA, Denise I. Dubs of Hanover, PA, and Diana Dubs Leppo of Hanover, PA; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by all of her siblings, Mary Stambaugh, Clair Baugher, John Baugher, Ervin Baugher, and Harry Baugher.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM, Monday, June 15, 2026, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 127 York St., Hanover, with her pastor, the Rev. Jason Northridge, officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Hanover. Visitation will be from 10-11AM, Monday, June 15, 2026, at the church. 

Memorial contributions may be made in Mildred’s name to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 127 York Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
