Mildred L. Geiman, 103, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Homewood at Plum Creek Nursing Center with her loving family by her side.
Born August 14, 1921, in York County, PA, she was the daughter of the late William L. and Della (Shorb) Prosise. Mildred was the loving wife of the late Truman J. Geiman with whom she shared 71 years of marriage until his passing on October 2, 2013.
Mrs. Geiman was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA.
Mildred was a former member of the Penn Township Lioness Club, and the Hanover Piano & Organ Club.
Mildred enjoyed music, playing the organ, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
Mildred is survived by four children, Truman J. Geiman, II, Michael L. Geiman and wife Barb, and Gene R. Geiman, all of Hanover, PA, and Sharon L. Resh and husband Richard of York, PA; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert L. Prosise; and daughter-in-law, Rosi B.J. Geiman.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Mildred will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Katrina Holland officiating. A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00AM, Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA at the convenience of the family.
