Morris L. Fishel, 88, of Spring Grove, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Columbia Cottage of Hanover, with his loving family by his side.
Born October 30, 1937, in Thomasville, PA, he was the son of the late John and Grace (Spahr) Fishel. Morris was the loving husband of Charlotte M. (Cramer) Fishel with whom he shared 68 years of marriage.
Morris was a 1956 graduate of Spring Grove High School, Spring Grove, PA. He was a pulp mill foreman for P.H. Glatfelter for 41 years until his retirement in 1999.
Morris was a John Deere guy, and enjoyed farming, hunting, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his loving wife, Charlotte, Morris is survived by his children, Frederick A. Fishel and wife Kim of Spring Grove, PA, Steven L. Fishel and wife Carol of Abbottstown, PA; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a brother Ray Fishel of Thomasville, PA. He was preceded in death by four children, Vickie L. Creamer, Kimberly A. Shultz, Timothy E. Fishel, and Randall S. Fishel; four sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Trinity Roth’s United Church of Christ Cemetery, Spring Grove, PA.
