Nancy A. Martin

Nancy A. Martin, 79, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Thursday, August 20, 2026, at home with her loving family by her side.

Born October 3, 1946, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dennis E. and Anna C. (Swope) Becker.  Nancy was the loving wife of Gary E. Martin, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. 

Nancy was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA.

Nancy was a 1964 graduate of Eichelberger High School, Hanover, PA.  She was a beautician at Sa-Hair-A Styling Studio for many years.

Nancy loved her children, grandchildren, reading, crocheting, and doing crossword puzzles.

In addition to her loving husband, Gary, Nancy is survived by her children, Chad Martin and wife Jenny of Hanover, PA, Misty McClain and husband Paul of Glen Rock, PA, and Todd Martin and wife Monica of Hanover, PA; four grandchildren, Makenna Martin, Ethan Martin, Bridget Hicks, and Justin Hicks; and a brother, Robert Becker of Spring Grove, PA.  She was preceded in death by three siblings, Betty Markle, Dorothy Kozlak, and Donald Becker.

A service to celebrate and remember Nancy will be held 11AM, Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 127 York Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Jason Northridge officiating.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA.  A visitation and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10-11AM, Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s name to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 127 York Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
