Patricia Davidson Brooks

Patricia Davidson Brooks, 89, of Hanover PA entered God's Eternal Care, Saturday, November 11, 2023, at her son's home in Herndon VA with her loving family and granddaughters by her side.

Born September 17, 1934, in Baltimore MD, Pat was the daughter of the late John and Catherine Davidson. 

Pat graduated from Eastern High School in 1953 and then went to earn her RN in nursing  at the University of Maryland School of Nursing where she graduated in 1956.  She was very proud to be  part of the first nursing school class that was able to walk with the rest of the graduates at the University of Maryland in College Park Maryland. 

Pat went on to have a wonderful 30-year career in Nursing working at the original Hanover Hospital where she worked all the shifts while becoming a Supervisor.  She was fortunate to be able to retire in 1996 to enjoy family, friends, and especially her granddaughters. 

Pat loved spending time and supporting her family in all their endeavors.  She never missed a birthday and was always excited for the next family get together or event that she could attend to support family and friends.  She was very active over the years driving from place to place so she wouldn't miss an opportunity to be with family & friends.   Pat was an avid sports fan who enjoyed rooting for the Orioles, Ravens, UMD, UVA, VT, GMU and Hanover sports teams whenever she could.  

Pat is survived by her Son, Jeff Brooks, his wife Jennifer Brooks and three granddaughters, Makenzie, Taylor & Kelsey Brooks of Herndon VA.  Her Sister, MaryLou Krummeck, niece Holly Hoke and Husband Steve and their children Christopher, Ashlee, Bethany and Brittany Miller daughters of Pat's late niece Jill Miller. Pat has many great nieces and nephews including Blair, Max, Greyson (Hoke), Harlow, Kingsley (Lawrence), Brynlee and Cambrie (Parrish)

A viewing and time to share memories with family will be held from 7:30-9:30PM, Friday, November 17th at the Kenworthy Funeral Home at 269 Frederick Street, Hanover PA. On November 18th a viewing is at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 129 Charles Street, Hanover PA from 10:00-11:00, Funeral Service 11:00-12:00 and internment following at Rest Haven Cemetery, 300 Frederick Street, Hanover PA.  A celebration of life luncheon will begin at 12:30 at Bay City Restaurant at 110 Eisenhower Drive in Hanover.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Pat's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
