Patsy R. Carr

Patsy R. Carr, 86, of Gettysburg, PA, entered God's eternal care on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Transitions in Gettysburg.

Born on April 25, 1940, in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm Stultz.

Patsy was a friend of Lower Marsh Creek Church in Gettysburg, PA.

Patsy worked as a nurse for many years at Springfield State Hospital.

She was a member of the Gettysburg YWCA. She loved swimming and her animals, and she cherished her group of friends from the Gettysburg Family Restaurant.

Patsy was also a volunteer at the local food pantry in Taneytown, Maryland, for many years.

Patsy is survived by her children, Rosby M. Carr, Jr. of Fairfield, PA, and David Derita of Gettysburg, PA; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Patricia Bellomy.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Dale Williams officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at the funeral home.
