Pina Elizabeth Egelhoff, 92, of Hanover, PA entered God’s eternal care, on Sunday May 3, 2020 at the Hanover Hall Nursing Center.
Born May 25, 1927 in Pine Knot, KY she was the daughter of the late Wm Columbus Ball and Bertha (Stephens) Ball. She was the loving wife of the late John Edward Egelhoff with whom she shared 50 years of marriage until his passing on November 22, 1998.
Pina was a 1945 graduate of McCreary County High School, Whitley City, KY.
Pina will be remembered for her colorful flower gardens, lifelong love of sewing, singing alto in church choirs, nightly Scrabble games, her love for her husband of 50 years, her daughters and their children, and above all, for giving Jesus the glory for all things.
Pina is survived by three daughters, Pamela I. Cassell and husband Jim of South Bloomingville, OH, Joan E. Alvarez and husband Gene of Cincinnati, OH, and Candace E. Deister and husband Jerome of Marion, IA; 12 grandchildren, Brandon Cassell, Kara Bocek, Paul Vincent, Deb West, Stephen Vincent, Julia Alvarez, Isaac Alvarez, Daniel Alvarez, Melody Alvarez, Natalie Deister, Nicholas Deister, Georgiana Deister; 14 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda J. Bartels, one great granddaughter, Anna Vincent, and 14 siblings.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
