Reda J. Gotwalt, 89, of Hanover, PA, entered into God’s eternal care, Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Homewood at Plum Creek with her loving family by her side.
Born February 14, 1935, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Hilda (Frock) Clouser. Reda was the loving wife of the late Clyde J. Gotwalt with whom she shared 67 years of marriage until his passing on March 18, 2023.
Reda was a member of St. David’s Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA.
Reda loved bowling and was a member of the Sunday night mixed league, and she loved spending time with her friends and family.
Reda is survived by her children, Thomas J. Gotwalt of Glenville, PA, and JoAnn M. Werner and husband Keith of Spring Grove, PA; three grandchildren, Zachary Werner, Aubri Werner, and Brooke Gotwalt. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Jacqueline H. Gotwalt, as well as her siblings, Earl Clouser, David Clouser, Annamae Abbott, Roma Gage, and Betty Druck
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Reda will be held 11:00AM, Monday, June 10, 2024, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with her Pastor the Rev. Stan Combs officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00AM, Monday, June 10, 2024, at the funeral home.
