Richard H. Bowersox

Richard Henry Bowersox, 71, of Thomasville, PA, entered God’s Eternal Care, Friday, March 18, 2022, at home.

Born January 9, 1951, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Robert H. & Pearl F. (Shryock) Bowersox.  Richard was predeceased by a brother James R. Bowersox.

Richard was a graduate of Spring Grove Area High School, class of 1969. He worked as a machine operator for BAE Systems and retired in 2002.  As a young man he enjoyed riding his Triumph Bonneville motorcycle and was a member of the Happy Ramblers Motorcycle Club.

Richard is survived by his brother Alan B. Bowersox of Spring Grove, PA, sister Belinda A. Tiner (Jim) of Fayetteville, NC, and sister-in-law Deborah Bowersox Smith of Manheim PA. 

Following cremation, a graveside service to remember and celebrate Richard’s life will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, March 25, 2022 at York Road Cemetery, 5500 York Road, Hanover, PA

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richard’s memory to any “No-Kill” animal shelter, or VISION Corps, 1380 Spahn Ave, York PA 17403.
