Richard A. Evans, 65, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Friday, May 23, 2025, at home with his loving family by his side.
Born December 14, 1959, in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Joe B. and Mildred (Snow) Evans. Richard was the loving husband of Charlene L. (Miller) Evans, with whom he shared 17 years of marriage.
Richard was a 2006 graduate of Penn Foster High School, Scranton, PA. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Richard worked as an electrical engineer for many years until his retirement December 23, 2023.
Richard loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his wife and his dog Bentley.
In addition to his loving wife Charlene, Richard is survived by one daughter, Brittany N. Nelson; four grandchildren, David L. Nelson, Vanessa L. Nelson, Elizabeth V. Nelson, & Matthew W. Nelson; and two sisters, Linda Flagle & Lorriane Bruggeman.
A celebration of life will be held from 1-4 PM, Saturday, June 7, 2025, at his home, 121 Lion Drive, Hanover, PA.
