Richard P. Binter Obituary

Richard P. Binter, 83, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Homewood at Plum Creek.

Born November 1, 1942, in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late Otto R. and Edna A. (Barkett) Binter.   

Richard was a 1962 graduate of Pennsauken High School, Pennsauken, NJ, and a 1967 graduate of the Temple University School of Pharmacy.  He loved his job working as a pharmacist at Wogan’s Drug Store for 18 years until his retirement in 2005. 

Richard was a member of the Hanover YMCA, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and the Hanover Texas Hold’em Club.

Richard enjoyed attending live outdoor musical concerts, watching movies, and football – especially his beloved Philadelphia Eagles, and loved growing cherry tomatoes and sharing them with his friends.

Richard survived by his significant other Bonnivie E. Reams, for over 40 years, Bonnivie’s brother Dennis Ensminger and his wife Louise (Glen Rock, Pennsylvania), his biological daughter Stephanie Binter (Seven Valleys, Pennsylvania) and Stacy Binter ( North Carolina), his stepchildren Randy Hunter and wife Laura (Arkansas), Latasha Mobiglia, husband Fabio and two children Micah and Matteo (New York), and Stepheni Anderson and husband Steve and three children Gavin, Gabby and Gage (Lancaster, Pennsylvania). He had many great friends he made during his life, as well.

A graveside service will be held 11AM, Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at St. Paul’s Dubs Church Cemetery, 1958 Dubs Church Road, Hanover, PA, with Father Cole Mase officiating.
