Robert Frank Dillman

Robert Frank Dillman, 91 of Hanover, PA entered God’s Eternal Care, Thursday, July 13, 2023, at UPMC Hanover Hospital.

Born September 1, 1931, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late George P. and Sarah R. (Kelly) Dillman.  Robert was the loving husband of Dolores Marie (Magnante) Dillman with whom he shared 67 years of marriage.  

Robert was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph College in Baltimore, MD, class of 1949.

Robert was a veteran and served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He was ranked as an E5 and was a Machinist’s Mate.

Robert worked as a machinist at Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 41 years until his retirement in September of 1991.

He was a member of Annunciation BVM in McSherrystown, PA.

In addition to his wife Dolores, Robert is survived by his children, George J. Dillman and spouse Susan, Anne M. Wade and spouse William, Jr., and Suzanne M. Dillman and spouse Laura Clark. Robert is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Mitchell E. Wade and spouse Karly, Christopher R. Dillman, Tiffany L. Ambrose and spouse Wesley, and Sean R. Dillman, and one great grandchild, George H. Ambrose.

Following cremation, a private celebration of life will be held.
