Robert F. Smith

Robert F. Smith, 78, of Hanover, PA, entered God's eternal care, Saturday August 22, 2020 at home with his loving family by his side.

Born July 1, 1942, in York, PA. Robert was the loving husband of Linda M. (Baublitz) Smith with whom he spent 50 years of marriage.

Robert was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, PA.

Robert retired from Dacco Erectors in 2010, where he worked for over thirty years in construction.

Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, putting together models, mechanic painting, car shows, story telling, and most of all spending time with his grandkids and family.

In addition to his loving wife, Linda, Robert is survived by his children, Sonya Reed, Dwaine Smith, Nicole Smith, and Roger Smith; five grandchildren, Heather Reed, Branden Reed, Halie Brown, Ashley Lane, and Jared Lane; two great- grandchildren, Tiana Onokpasa and Brayson Onokpasa; six siblings, Herman Smith, Mary Alice, Sue Styers, Carol Collins, Barb Cook, and James Smith. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Rose Wagner, Clair Mae Smith, and Leroy Smith.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held 12:00pm, Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Rest Haven Cemetery, at the corner of Boundary Avenue and Westminster Avenue, Hanover, PA.
