Robert L. Trish

Robert L. Trish, 87, of Hanover, PA, entered into God’ eternal care on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at the Gardens at Gettysburg Nursing Center.

Born September 13, 1937, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Robert L. and Anna A. (Crowl) Trish.  Robert was the loving husband of the late Delores K. (Lippy) Trish who died December 3, 2000.

Robert worked as a dairy hand at various dairy farms in the York and Adams County Areas.

Robert enjoyed bowling and watching Oriole’s baseball games and Steeler’s football games.  He especially loved spending time with his family, especially his great granddaughter. 

Robert is survived by his three children, Kathy A. Valentine, Craig A. Trish, and Lisa F. Patterson, three grandchildren, April Boone, Erica (Patterson) Valentin, and Cheryl Poole and husband Robert, six great grandchildren, Kodie Valentin, Justin Valentin, Jacob Valentin, Jarrett Valentin, Hunter Boone, and Madison Poole, and his siblings, Evelyn Robertson, Florence Stewart and her husband Jack, Nevin Trish and his wife Beverly, and Steven Trish and his wife Donna.  He was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Michael Patterson, and his brothers, Emory, Kenneth, Ronald, Donald, Harold, and Walter Trish.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Robert’s life will be held 11 AM, Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Rev. Fred Mummert officiating.  Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, PA.  A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the funeral home.
