Roger Lee Poseno

Roger Lee Poseno, 79, of Littlestown, PA, entered God's eternal care, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his home with his loving family by his side.

Born December 4, 1940 in Bluefield, VA, he was the son of the late John and Lillian (Poseno) Clem.  Roger was the loving husband of Lois M. (Stonnell) Poseno with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.

He was a 1959 graduate of Baltimore City College and worked over twenty-six years of his career as a  regional manager for the Pepsi Cola Company until his retirement in 2003.  In recent years, he was affiliated with the Littlestown Chapel, Littlestown, PA with his wife Lois. 

Roger was a kind and loving son, husband, father, ‘grand-dad’ and friend.  He appreciated the simpler things in life with a selfless heart that always preferred to give rather than receive.  When needed, he would always be available to lend a helping hand or provide support for a difficult project.  

He found tremendous joy spending time with his grandchildren, playing, and teaching them the ins and outs of life.  His patience served as an example for many to strive for and has left a lasting impression for all who knew him.  

Roger saw strength and ability in others that many were not able to see in themselves.  His gentle approach would inspire confidence that taught something could be achieved rather than by simply teaching how something is done. 

He always found a way to say just the right thing at just the right time with a boyish humor that made everyone around him laugh and smile.  He could make light of any situation with a wisdom that was only dwarfed by his humility.

Roger will be greatly missed by so many friends, family and loved ones.  May he rest in peace knowing how special he was to so many and how much his life impacted others.

In addition to his loving wife, Lois, Roger is survived by two sons, Randall S. Poseno and wife Tina of Silver Run, MD, and Robert A. Poseno and wife Amanda of Newtown, CT; five grandchildren, Devlan, Darian, Elizabeth, Abigail, and Andrew; two brothers, Jack Poseno and John Clem; and one sister, Mary Wood.  He was preceded in death by a son, Richard L. Poseno; and one brother, Harvey Poseno.

Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate and remember Roger will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Kidney Fund (AKF) or the National Kidney Foundation (NKF).
