Ronald D. Nickey

Ronald Delone Nickey, 74, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care Sunday, December 23, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover Hospital. 

Born February 2, 1944, in Hanover, PA he was the son of the late Delone F. and Mary E. (Rineman) Nickey.  

Ronald was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hanover, PA.

Ronald was a 1962 graduate of Delone Catholic High School, McSherrystown, PA.     

Ronald was a loving father and grandfather.  He was active and volunteered with Make-A-Wish and was an avid collector of various things, especially elephants. 

Ronald is survived by his children, David Wildasin and Karen Wildasin, both of Hanover, PA, Lisa Showvaker of Manchester, MD, Ronald Nickey of Felton, PA, Tonya Edmondson of York, PA, Missy Wildasin and Wendy Shearer, both of Hanover, PA; six grandchildren, Erica Wildasin, Jared Nickey, Zach Wildasin, Emily Nickey, Micah Wildasin, and Callie Shearer; one great-grandson, Jonah Nickey; and a brother, Tom Nickey of Ann Arbor, MI.  He was preceded in death by his second wife Patricia (Sanders) Wildasin Nickey, a grandson, Jacob Shearer, and a brother, Larry Nickey.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
