Ronald O. Rummel, entered into eternal life on January 27, 2026, at the age of 82, at Hanover Hall. He was the son of the late Orville W. and Betty J. (Jacoby) Rummel. He was a 1961 graduate of Eichelberger High School. He was employed at Bethlehem Mines for 24 years, and Gettysburg Hospital for 15 years.
Ronald was a life member of the Hanover Elks, McSherrystown Home, New Oxford Social Club and Hanover Moose. A social member of Hanover AmVets, Hanover Eagles, and McSherrystown Fish & Game. He was a member of Grace U.C.C. Church of Hanover, PA.
Surviving is his wife of 61 years, Judy, son Douglas (Lisa), sister Donna Sprenkle, 1 grandson Brandon, 2 granddaughters Ashley & Megan, and 2 great grandchildren. Preceding him in death is son Todd, stillborn son Dwayne, sister Sharon, and brothers Larry and Donald.
Following cremation, a service to celebrate and remember Ronald will be held at 11AM, Monday, February 2, 2026, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Pastor Amy Fawks officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Dubs Church Cemetery, Hanover, PA. The family will receive friends from 10-11AM, Monday, February 2, 2026, at the funeral home.
